Be one of our showcase ambassadors

We believe one of the best ways to make engineering a force for good in the world is to teach young people about the role it can play in sustainable human development. As an Ambassador for Engineers Without Borders UK, you’ll be running workshops designed to open young minds up to the possibilities of a career in engineering by showing the difference it can make to people’s lives.

What's in it for you

Becoming a Showcase Ambassador and leading one of our workshops looks great on the CV! It also gives you the chance to meet other talented and ambitious young engineers, broaden your experience and develop your career. You’ll receive training and support from Engineers Without Borders UK and the national STEM Ambassadors Programme. And you’ll have access to our Showcase resources, designed to engage young people.

What more could you want – other than to be part of something big of course…

You'll be part of a movement

By becoming a Showcase Ambassador you’ll be part of a movement of thousands of engineers across the country who are working to:

  • Inspire students, educators and engineers about the principles and potential of ethical, environmentally sound and culturally sensitive engineering.

  • Enable partner organisations, people and communities to use and develop their engineering capabilities to address global challenges.

  • Influence the engineering community to lead by example and make a positive contribution as responsible global citizens.
