Jo trained as an Architect, but after finding the projects she was working on weren’t as fulfilling as she had hoped, she decided to explore the international development sector. She applied for to the international programme with Engineers Without Borders UK and became inspired by the work she did whilst in Bangladesh. Today, she is the founder and director of charity Azuko, where she works with the very charity she met during her placement.
