Engineers Without Borders UK is entering an exciting new chapter as we join the community at Society Building in Fitzrovia, Central London.

Established by Elliott Wood, Society Building is a space for the built environment to think, question, make and collaborate beyond traditional industry siloes. The three locations across London and Bristol play host to organisations working across engineering, architecture, consultancy, communications and beyond.

The move presents an opportunity to work alongside organisations and individuals who share a commitment to creating a more just and sustainable future for the built environment and engineering.

We would like to express our thanks to Elliott Wood for generously providing membership and hot-desking opportunities on a pro-bono basis. Their support will help us continue convening conversations, collaborations and initiatives that drive positive change across the engineering sector.

This marks the end of our time at The Foundry in Vauxhall, which has been our home for over a decade. During our time there, we’ve benefited from being surrounded by purpose-driven organisations all working towards shaping a better world. We’re thankful to our neighbours and the wider Foundry community for creating such a welcoming and inspiring environment over the years.

As part of the transition, we were also delighted to be able to donate a number of laptops to Community TechAid, who will refurbish the devices and distribute them to those who need them, helping support access to education, employment and increased social connection.

Operations Coordinator, Jacob Samuels, donating the laptops to Community TechAid.
