Engineers without borders ambassadors champion our vision of a world where people everywhere have equal access to the benefits of engineering.
Engineers Without Borders Ambassador activities include delivering workshops in school classrooms to inspire the next generation of globally responsible engineers and supporting our presence at events, festivals and conferences to engage members of the public and build our movement.
Engineers Without Borders UK partners with the national STEM Ambassadors Programme to recruit, train and support our Ambassadors. To become an Engineers Without Borders Ambassador you must first become a STEM Ambassador. This helps us to ensure that the necessary safety checks for working with children have been undertaken. Once you are approved as an Ambassador, there is support available to help you arrange your workshops in the classroom.
When you register with the STEM Ambassadors Programme, please make sure you select the ‘Engineers Without Borders Ambassador’ scheme under your Qualification Details on the registration form and check the box to say you’re happy to share your details with your ‘Professional Institution’.
