Engineers Without Borders UK leads a movement inspiring, enabling and influencing the future of engineering to ensure a better world for everyone. Our work embeds social and environmental responsibility into engineering mindsets and knowhow. This supports the development of better technologies, systems and infrastructure to achieve more equal access to transformative, globally responsible engineering around the world.
Now is an exciting time to be part of Engineers Without Borders UK. We have recently refocused our operations on the delivery of our strategy ‘Engineering Change: Our Strategy 2016-21’ and are currently in a strong position to plan for growth from 2020 onwards. The role of our Trustees is vital to ensure effective governance of the organisation and also to provide advice and assistance to our growing staff team. We are looking for someone with senior level experience of business development, operations and people management to join our Board of Trustees. Previous experience on a charitable board or working in a third sector organisation related to social/environmental justice is highly desirable.
