Engineers Without Borders UK partners with organisations and communities around the world to increase access to engineering in water and sanitation, clean energy and the built environment. We recruit and support qualified volunteer engineers to work on 6, 9 and 12-month opportunities based with our local partner organisations. Over the past five years through our international work we have contributed a staggering 160,000 labour-hours to projects, supporting the delivery of engineering infrastructure and the research and development of sustainable technologies.

We’re currently supporting partners throughout parts of Africa, Asia and Latin America to increase access to clean water, improved sanitation facilities, reliable energy resources and resilient built environments. You can read all about our current projects below.

PLEASE NOTE: We recently decided to take a short pause on recruiting for new projects so that we can explore a wider range of international collaboration opportunities to be able to support more fantastic engineering around the world in the longer term. You can read more about that and find out how you can get involved in shaping our future here.
