Debrief workshops for our returned volunteers

17th November 2015
This year 70 professionals and students have spent time with Engineers Without Borders UK partners overseas. On Saturday 7th November 2015 we held the first of two debrief events for return volunteers to share insights and challenges from their experiences. Projects ranged from mapping water supply options in Honduras; Pedal powered irrigation systems in Malawi and improved portable rice milling in the Philippines.
We also heard inspiring talks some from some our alumni members who spoke about how Engineers Without Borders UK  has had a positive impact on their careers and helped them further careers in development and the engineering sector.
The next debrief event will be on 27th February 2016.
