ENGINEERING FOR PEOPLE DESIGN CHALLENGE: CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATe
Last Updated on 29 May 2020
We would like to reassure students that the Engineering for People Design Challenge 2019/20 is continuing as planned. However, due to the Coronavirus outbreak we have made some small adjustments and updates for each nation which can be found below:
No changes have been made at this time. Information on dates for submission deadlines and grand finals will be made available in due course.
It is likely that some of your courses will be moved online, particularly for the second half of semester one. We are working with your lecturers to ensure that online delivery of the Design Challenge will be as smooth as possible. We are fortunate that both the Design Brief (and associated materials) as well as the Design Challenge itself, lend themselves well to online implementation.
We appreciate that recent events have caused disruption in day-to-day activities but hope it can also be an opportunity to enhance your abilities in remote working, a skill which is ever more required/commonplace in the workplace today.
