Training Resource Area

Handover Packs from workshops, role plays and training events are provided here for use by branches.

The handover packs are here to give you ideas. You do not have to follow them to the letter. If you believe you have added something to the workshop, please feel free to modify/add to the Handover Pack and email it onto the Training Co-ordinator, with changes highlighted.

What our branches have been doing (part two)

With the academic year drawing to an end and exams looming just around the corner, it is time to have a quick look at what the EWB-branches have been up to. This is the second in a series of stories about our branches; today we look at Bristol.

EWB Bristol, who hosted last year's National Conference, have had a fantastic year, driven by a very enthusiastic committee. Branch president Peter Cooper gives us an overview:

Three Peaks Challenge - Success!!

3PeaksAs part of EWB-UK's new package of sponsorship events, five people took part in the three peaks challenge to raise money for EWB-UK. The three peaks are Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon respectively. Different people will take different periods of time to do the 3 peaks. Those who are brave, noble, or just plain stupid, try to do all 3 within the space of 24 hours - The Three Peaks Challenge.

The team manged to successfully complete the challenge in 23 hours and 28 mins - a mamouth achievement! Congratulations to all envolved!

From trekking to leaping out of a plane, there’s an EWB-UK event to suit all adrenalin levels. The experiences are incredible, but it's hard work too – and not just the activity. Participants need to raise enough money to cover their costs and to make a real contribution to EWB-UK's work.
