EWB-UK is now recruiting for two volunteer placements:

• Kampala Jellitone Suppliers - Uganda - March 2010

• Practical Action - UK - March 2010

The placement in Uganda has been arranged through the Ashden Awards working with one of their award winners, Kampala Jellitone Suppliers and is to develop an efficient stove. KJS has a functional institutional stove that is used by customers who buy briquettes, but to date the household stove is not efficient for its briquettes. It is working on developing a better stove and needs help with testing/developing new models.

The placement in the UK is an extension to our ongoing series of three-month placements at Practical Action's headquarters in Warwickshire. The role will be in market development - an interesting area of work in one of the world's leading  international development organisations.
