The first EWB Scottish International Development Conference!

The weekend will consist of:

Friday: Keynote speech by Dr Yusaf Samiullah OBE - DfiD Head of Infrastructure, followed by a networking fair with various engineering and development organisations inc. buffet reception.

Saturday to Sunday: 3-4 hour practical workshops on rural electricity generation, infrastructure, sanitation, disaster relief and water supply, with a focus on sustainability. Lunches and dinner included.

Partners for the event include the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), RedR UK, EngineerAid, David Livingstone Centre for Sustainability

Accommodation is not included in the conference fee, but EWB-Strathclyde have negotiated cheaper rates at Euro Hostel Glasgow
