Looking for volunteers?

In 2008 EWB-UK provided 35 skilled volunteers to nearly 20 Partner Organisations, and also provided other forms of assistance. Why not become an EWB-UK Partner Organisation too?

Sending volunteers

The EWB-UK Placements Programme sends volunteers to assist organisations who work to reduce poverty, and who have a track record of doing so. In return Partner Organisations provide a valuable opportunity for volunteers to gain work experience. Unfortunately we are not able to assist Partner Organisations with direct funding.

Other forms of assistance

The EWB-UK Placements Programme can also assist Partner Organisations in other ways:

  • Carrying out advertising and interviewing for existing internship programmes
  • Providing advice and training to UK-based student-run volunteer placement programmes
  • Advertising paid job opportunities to our members
  • Referring Partner Organisations to the EWB-UK Research Programme
