Information we collect

We collect personal information from you through this site through the membership registration form and any additional forms, e.g. placement application forms.

EWB-UK processes information provided by members and non-members to enable it to carry out its activities in accordance with its objectives and for its administrative purposes.

We may use the information to tell you about our activities. We may make it available to EWB-UK volunteers working around the country to enable them to contact you for the purposes of informing you about EWB-UK related news or to request your assistance. If you do not wish the information to be disclosed in this way, you have the ability to remove it from the database via the "Account Settings" feature.

We will not disclose your information to any third party organisation for marketing or other purposes without your prior consent.

You have the option to allow site users to contact you using a message delivery system via our website, you can enable/disable this on your 'account settings'. Additionally there is the option for you to share information about yourself via the 'Community Profile', the fields available are deliberately selected to encourage you not to reveal sensitive information or contact details to the wider membership of the site.
