Electricity is important in enabling us to fulfil our everyday needs. However, there are challenges associated with ensuring that people around the world get and maintain access. Engineering has a significant role to play in addressing these challenges.

Through our resources, pupils discover how engineering can help people all around the world gain reliable access to clean electricity. They find out about how important electricity is and how engineering facilitates its distribution. The pupils then design, build and test their own model wind turbine. This workshop builds on the Sustainable Development Goals and the concept of global citizenship.
