Centre for Alternative Technology Trip

Are you concerned about the environmental challenges facing our planet? To find out more, take a trip to Centre for Alternative Technology!

CAT, in mid-Wales, aims to inspire, inform and enable people to explore new ways of living. It demonstrates practical solutions to environmental problems in an entertaining and informative way. The key areas CAT works in are renewable energy, environmental building, energy efficiency, organic growing, and alternative sewage systems.

Time: Saturday Week 5, 16th Feb

Venue: Centre for Alternative Technology, Machynlleth

Cost: £10 (coach, entry, guided tour, Q&A session and dinner included, more than £25 off! Subsidized by Oxford University Engineering Society and Engineers Without Borders UK)

Lunch: Bring your own sandwich or buy it at the centre (about £5)

Booking details:

1. Send a £10 cheque made out to “Engineers Without Borders Oxford” to our treasurer Fei Fei, Queen’s College, with your full name, college at the back by Monday of 4th week (4th Feb).
