Bursaries Terms and Conditions

Scope of Document

The following terms and conditions apply to individuals selected to receive financial support through the EWB-UK bursary scheme ('Beneficiaries').

Reporting

A Beneficiary is required to submit a full report after the conclusion of their project detailing their experiences, lessons learned and the project's impacts. Contributions to EWB-UK's knowledgebase are intended to support future activities in line with EWB-UK's mission statement. The report should also include a financial statement to indicate how the money was used. Guidance on format and content of the report is given in a separate document.

Statement of Liability

EWB-UK accepts no responsibility for any aspect of a Beneficiary's project.

This policy is commensurate with the status of the EWB-UK Bursary scheme as a funding mechanism, rather than project organizer and oversight body.

EWB-UK accepts no responsibility for the personal safety and health of Beneficiaries.

EWB-UK accepts no responsibility for any outcomes of the project, including but not limited to any potential impacts on third parties.

If anything in this document is unclear, contact the Bursaries Team. It is your responsibility to ensure that you fully understand and comprehend this statement.

Income Tax

It is up to the Beneficiary to determine their personal tax implications of receiving a bursary.

Funding Constraints

Due to the charitable nature of EWB-UK, dispersal of funds to recipients may be delayed or cancelled at any time for any reason.

Privacy

All information collected for the Bursary programme is done so in a manner consistent with EWB-UK's privacy policy.
