EWB Imperial Wins Accolades
Imperial College City and Guilds College Union's Best Society Award has been won by the EWB branch at Imperial College. After being founded in late 2003 the EWB branch at Imperial has made rapid strides in the last two and a half years, and now plays an important part in the activities of the charity. The award given to the branch at the annual City and Guilds AGM and the words of praise recieved from the Union President highlight what has been a notable year for the branch and the magnitude of enthusiasm for Engineers Without Borders at Imperial College.
EWB Imperial would like to thank the CGCU for this honour as well as the numerous individuals and organisations who have supported the branch since its founding.

Well done everyone! That's fantastic. Although too modest to mention himself, special congratulations should go to Jignesh Parekh, the President of EWB at Imperial College who has done so much over the last year to build up the branch and use all the enthusiasm of the members. It was clear at the band night last week that a lot of people have all worked incredibly hard to get EWB at Imperial going so well, and it'll be great to see things get even bigger and better in future.

Awesome news Jig, but hardly a surprise - have been well impressed at how quickly EWB Imperial has built a real presence for itself around the engineering departments and the university as a whole at Imperial, so real recognition was always around the corner! Well done to you and everyone in your team. Yup, band night was brill, lets have some more soonish!!!

This is excellent news. Well done everyone, you have all worked tremendously hard. What a wonderful way to round-off the academic year of the branch and I hope this inspires everyone to continue with the good work.
