Tri Disciplinary Course: Places Still Available!
From learning about the benefits of biogas to building solar water heaters, EWB-UK’s Tri-Disciplinary Course introduces the participant to both the theory and the practical application of some of the technologies and techniques used by NGOs in the field.
Grouped under the three headings of Water and Sanitation, Shelter and Infrastructure and Alternative Energy, experts in all aspects of the development sector will instruct on topics ranging from designing refugee camps, to how the rope-washer pump has been benefiting African farmers.
This is the second Tri-Disciplinary Course to be hosted by EWB-UK and Fran Talavera, the course co-ordinator, thinks this year’s event has the potential to repeat the success of last year.
‘We’ve already had a lot of interest in this event, but there are still places available. This year we are offering a new set of practical sessions covering a variety of topics that I’m confident the participants will find both fun and inspirational.’
The course runs from the 19th until the 22nd September and lasts three full days. It takes place at the Preston Montford Field Studies Centre in Shrewsbury with places allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
The course costs £63 including all meals, accommodation and materials. To apply, or for more information click here
