RedR UK Field Logistics 5 day Course

Logistics underpins project and programme implementation. The supply of the right materials to the right place at the right time and within budget is essential to the smooth running of humanitarian programmes. EWB Photography Competition 2008


Engineers Without Borders UK's mission is 'to facilitate human development through engineering'. Entries to our Photography Competition 2008 will in some way reflect aspects of our mission, and show and inspire the wider world about how engineering can make a difference.

Categories reflect EWB-UK's six Communities of Practice. These communities' best represent the areas that EWB-UK is currently involved in: Energy, Habitat,Information and Communication Technology, Industry, Transpot and Water and Sanitation.

Architecture for Humanity - 100 % Detail - Call for Volunteers

For the 4th year running, Architecture for Humanity have a stand at 100% Detail – where they look forward to meeting new members as well as providing an information point for the public to get to know the charity.

They are looking for 1 person to join the team as administrative support. They are also looking for people to volunteer and join with setting up, manning, or taking down the stand during the four days of the exhibition, which runs from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September 2008.

Eden Summer School: Governance, Waste and the Design of Buildings

This year's ASF-UK Summer School at the Eden Project will explore the re-use and recycling of waste in the design and production of buildings and as it applies to the issues of livelihoods, governance and partnerships within a global context.
