Dear Professional Network, Hope that you’re all enjoying the sun (those in the UK). All those in academia might like to look at this year’s EWB-UK Research projects. Additionally, if you have experience in any of the projects then you may like to take on a mentoring role. For anyone wishing to exert themselves physically to new extremes while fundraising for EWB-UK, take on the Nettle Warrior challenge. Hope some of these prove useful.

EWB-UK RESEARCH PROJECTS 2008 EWB-UK's Research Programme helps provide a bridge between universities, students, NGOs and communities. The research homepage is www.ewb-uk.org/programmes/research EWB-UK links students and academia with communities and organisations in developing countries with technical research needs. Students solve technical problems identified by partner organisations. Students put their skills to practical use and deepen their understanding of development. Specific ways that Professional Network members can get involved can be found here
