Current and Completed Research Projects

Students are currently working on a wide range of exciting research projects. Some ongoing and completed projects are summarised below so keep an eye out for more of their final reports in the near future. We hope that this is a useful way to share the knowledge learnt and make sure that the wheel isn't reinvented everytime research is carried out in this field.

Biodiesel Plant project with engINdia - Hayley, Bath

The aim of this project is to design a biodiesel transerterification plant for a rural community in Pabal, India. The aim is to reduce the reliance on mechanical components in the design and be as locally sourced and sustainable as possible. Hayley is this summer heading out to Pabal to work with the NGO Vigyan Ashram to field test and impliment her final design.
