Aidan Marchand is a mechanical and electrical engineer who works for Grontmij in Bristol.
In 2007 he designed a clean water handpump scheme to take to villages in Nepal with a group that has been working there since 2003.

One goal of the meeting is to find volunteers for an expedition to Nepal later this year, and possibly in future years, to work on social/educational/infrastructure projects.
The trip in late 2008 will focus particularly on completing the handpump scheme and conducting rainwater surveys.

Come to find out more about this work and how you can contribute.
