Hello Professional Network,

For quite a few of you this will be your first PN bulletin. Welcome. These bulletins, sent out a few times a month, will give you information on opportunities to get more involved with humanitarian work. This includes events, courses and resources some organised by EWB-UK, some not, where you may wish to take part directly or play a supporting role.

Any young engineers who are keen to gain some field experience should seriously consider out year-long placement with NAKRUDA in Nigeria, this is a challenging placement that will yield very tangible results and give you a wealth of experience and insights into the field of international development.

EWB-UK Professional Network National Coordinator

A great social programme accompanies the event with an African-Scottish theme including an African Dinner in the spectacular Playfair Library, the Free public Inaugural lecture and reception and a Ceilidh/African Dancing Event.
