Run by Aptivate, leaders in IT services for international development, Field Communications will take an in-depth look at communications methods suitable for remote locations with little infrastucture. Radio, GSM, satellite and power will be examined through a combination of theory and hands-on practical excercises. PSTN, PABX, VHF, VSAT, GPRS, EDGE, DVB, morse code, encryption, roaming, Globalstar, Iriduim, solar power, and much, much more will be covered. It's not a day to miss!
