All past Professional Network Bulletins can be viewed at www.ewb-uk.org/PN_Bulletin_archive

Dear Engineers Without Borders members,

My name is Jane Williamson and I’m the new Professional Network (PN) Coordinator for Scotland.  I am a based in Glasgow and currently working with Social Work Services Design Team at Glasgow City Council. My background is Architecture and Urban Design and I presently completing my Part 3 to be a chartered Architect.

My involvement with EWB started in 2006 when I completed a summer placement at the Shelter Centre in Cambridge. On return from the summer placement I joined the EWB Glasgow Branch where I have been an active member.  I regularly attended committee meetings and was part of the team who orgainised the first EWB Scottish Conference in April 2007.

This is an exciting time for EWB PN north of the border as we establish the Professional Network in Glasgow. Its early stages and there are many exciting opportunities ahead.  I have attached some information on how the Professional Network has developed throughout the UK and ways that you can become involved.
