IDDS: International Development Design Summit
MIT will be hosting the second International Development Design Summit (IDDS) during the summer of 2008, and we would like to invite you to consider applying to participate in this remarkable event. Applications are due February 10, 2008. IDDS, which will run from July 14 to August 8 on the MIT campus, brings together practitioners, community partners, students, and faculty from many countries to focus on the needs of the developing world. The Summit is very much a hands-on experience. Through focused workshops, intensive work sessions, and seminars to inspire and instruct, participants work in teams while designing and creating technologies that they can take back to their countries for testing and further development.
