EWB-UK Members take part in IDDS - New York Times
Three Engineers Without Borders UK members took part in the first International Development Design Summit at MIT this summer. Alistair Cook (EWB-UK Publicity Co-ordinator), Sachi Findlater (EWB-UK Training Co-ordinator) and Mohamed Mashaal (EWB Cambridge member) won places at the summit which was attended by participants from sixteen countries.
The summit, and some of the work of our members, has received coverage in the New York Times. The full article is available on the New York Times website, which also has a narrated slideshow to cover the event. Thanks to Alistair Cook and Rick Friedman of the New York Times for the photograph.
IDDS is led by Amy Smith at D-Lab at MIT. To find out more about IDDS, visit the IDDS website or contact Alistair Cook.
