The Imperial College London branch has striven in the last years to provide training courses, speakers and to promote research and education linked with development.

Among its popular courses one can highlight the Energy Course and Appropriate Technology Course.

The progress of the branch in 2006 also afforded it the College City and Guilds College Union's 'Best Society Award'.
