EWB Glasgow is a joint branch between Glasgow University and Strathclyde University. The branch was the first in Scotland, founded in early 2005. Since then the branch has maintained strong participation in both universities through fundraising and social events, and numerous presentations, lectures and training activities.

In the coming year (2007/2008) we plan to:

• build a wind turbine as a branch project
• hold social events such as ceilidhs and band nights
• hold a photo exhibition
• run workshops on water engineering and development and shelter building and development
• run a shelter building competition
