Hitchhikes are exactly what they say on the tin. On the Friday, set off towards a far flung city, have a great weekend and meet a whole new bunch of people. Come back on the Sunday and tell all your friends of your adventures - all in the name of charity! On December 7th 2007, after just over one month of fundraising, two teams chose to do such a thing and left their respective homes to start hitching towards Dublin. After many hours dancing by the road and talking to interesting strangers, both teams made it.

This event was kept small and personal so that any potential problems were ironed out quickly. The main long term goal is to grow the number of participants in the future - watch this space!
