Welcome to EWB-Derby
Engineers Without Borders Derby was founded in October 2011 as a professional network. Although our organisation is in its infancy, we're already making progress towards our goals.
Our mission is simple:
To harness engineering capability in order to facilitate the progression of international development by:
- Providing a forum to allow likeminded professionals to contribute technical knowledge which will add value to the field.
- Providing a link between the EWB-UK student network, industry and international development organisations across the globe.
- Coordinating the completion of worthwhile collaborative engineering projects with well researched requirements.
- Inspiring and educating the next generation about the global issues facing international development and sustainability.
To achieve our aims we're on the lookout for capable people to join our ever growing team. Whether you're a student or professional, engineer or not; if you have an interest in sustainable international development we'd love to hear from you!
