The Humanitarian Centre would like to invite you to their Annual Lecture in the Queen’s Building, Emmanuel College at 7pm on 6th February. The host will be Lord Wilson of Dinton, Master of Emmanuel College.

The speaker this year will be Alan Court, UNICEF Director of Programme Division, who will talk on “The Millennium Development Declaration and Goals and the State of the World's Children: where are we?”.

Alan has over thirty years experience both in the field and at UNICEF headquarters, and in his current role is at the forefront of programme policy, guidance and management. The lecture will be followed by a reception with the speaker and Cambridge organisations engaged in international relief and development.

The Humanitarian Centre is a Cambridge charity that works to support over thirty local relief and development organisations to become more than the sum of their parts.
