The Branch Support Team!

Nicola Lazenby graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 with a 1st Class Masters in Civil Engineering, specialising in geotechnical engineering. She is now based at the University of Sheffield on the E-Futures DTC programme, in the department of civil engineering.

In her final year at Newcastle University, Nicola was the co-founder of EWB Newcastle. Following her move to Sheffield, she became regional branch support for the NE&S whilst also sitting on the EWB Sheffield committee as Outreach Coordinator, before becoming National Branch Support Coordinator.

Aside from life in university and ewb, Nicola embraces the  student life, involving herself in sports and societies, coaching a local junior netball team whilst playing on the university netball team.

Elly is an undergraduate from Cardiff University, currently in her third year of a Civil and Environmental Engineering course. Elly has been a member of EWB since 2010 and in the 2011-12 academic year she was a co-President of EWB Cardiff. Since June 2012 has been the Regional Branch Support for the SW and Wales.  

Last summer she visited Bangladesh with SAFE and RedR. Outside of EWB she enjoys rowing, athletics and climbing.
