29 Jun 2008 - 20:00
Location:
Scotland, England and Wales
Organiser:
Tom Willcock

The National Three Peaks involves climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales.

These are Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon respectively. Different people will take different periods of time to do the 3 peaks. Those who are brave, noble, or just plain stupid, try to do all 3 within the space of 24 hours - The Three Peaks Challenge.

You will be expected to raise a minimum of £80. After a deposit of £30, this only leaves another £50 to raise. If you raise over £80, after having your deposit cashed, you can get your £30 deposit back. The event will start and finish in Birmingham, you are responsible for travelling to and from this location. The deadline for your deposit and application form is Friday 31st May 2008.
How do I enter?
1. Fill in the Application and Declaration (below) 2. Email Tom (link below) - to know where to send the forms! 3. Send the Forms and your deposit off 4. Get Sponsored

NB This is not an EWB-UK event, it is a Durham University Charities Kommittee (DUCK) event with Engineers Without Borders UK as the sole beneficiary charity. The Three Peaks Challenge is something fun you can take part in (at your own risk) and then raise money for EWB-UK through it.
